Designed to handle demanding photography, video, and editing tasks, including 8K and 6K multi-cam sequences using advances 10 and 12-bit codecs, high framerate footage, and ultra-high resolution raw images, the 8TB Gemini Ultra X2 Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array and Docking Station from OWC / Other World Computing lets users edit ultra-high resolution files on the fly, ingest several media cards in parallel, render dailies, and more. Compatible with Windows and Mac, the Gemini Ultra X2 connects to your host system using a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port, while a second Thunderbolt 3 port may be used to create a daisy-chain with up to five additional devices, charge compatible devices with up to 27W of power, or connect one 8K/60 Hz or one 4K/120 Hz display. Other available ports include two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, a HDMI 2.1 port that supports 8K/120 Hz, and a UHS-II SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader.
